Giving Back

Mosquito Joe of Northwest Florida is proud to support our local community by giving back through supporting the following organizations and non-profits:

Fisher House

The Fisher House Foundation builds comfort homes where military and veterans families can stay free of charge, while a loved one is in the hospital. To support this foundation Mosquito Joe of Northwest Florida donates $20 for every person that pre-pays and mentions, “give 20.” By doing this they were able to donate $380 to the Fisher House Foundation in 2018. This year, they reached their goal to donate at least $500.

Mosquito Joe of Northwest Florida specifically partners with the Fisher House of the Emerald Coast. This Fisher House is located on Eglin Air Force Base in Northwest Florida and provides a “home away from home” so that our military families can be together during treatment for serious illness or physical/occupational therapy. The House is within steps of the Eglin Air Force Base Hospital and Veteran’s Clinic.

Sharing and Caring

Their mission is to coordinate community efforts to meet the emergency needs of families in our local area. During the Christmas season Mosquito Joe of Northwest Florida donates Christmas items to Sharing and Caring. In addition to this, they have also done their best to fulfill Christmas wish-lists for those in need. Outside of the holiday season, Mosquito Joe of Northwest Florida also contributes to their food-drive with donations and promotion.

ECCAC-partnership

Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center

With two locations, one located in Okaloosa County and the other located in Walton County, the ECCAC works to empower these communities to address child abuse. This organization works with not only child protective and legal entities, but also with community partners to provide services needed for child abuse victims and their families. Mosquito Joe of Northwest Florida is proud to donate to such an amazing organization and aid in their mission.

Alaqua Animal Refuge

Located in our state’s panhandle, Alaqua Animal Refuge is a no-kill animal shelter and sanctuary. They believe that abused, neglected, and homeless animals deserve a second chance. In addition to finding animals in their forever homes, Alaqua has also developed a number of community involvement programs. Mosquito Joe of Northwest Florida proudly supports Alaqua Animal Refuge.

PAWS

We are a proud supporter of PAWS (Panhandle Animal Welfare Society). They strive to provide the resources, education, and programs needed to improve animal welfare in the Panhandle area. They do this through animal control, offering vet clinic services and an adoption center.

C.A.L.M. House Shelter

C.A.L.M is a non-profit organization that offers transitional housing to mothers and children in crisis situations. Mosquito Joe of Northwest Florida is proud to support this nonprofit in our local area to achieve their mission.
